Author/Artist Review

Author: Robin Currie
Submitted: November 25, 2008

Tell us a little about yourself.  i am a retired Lutheran pastor and former librarian and storyteller.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Cook Communication broke into the field of Bible storybooks for ages 0-3 with the the Baby Bible series. They called me to write the first one and I am the author of the entire series.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Enjoy the stories you knew long ago! Do the suggested actions with your child and both of you will learn.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  The first time I read the book to a group of children in my parish, I realized how involving and active these stories are. We had such a good time!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Mom and Dad.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  In 2008, 4 of the Baby Bibles were reprinted with energetic new art. The stories are still the original and the kids will like them even better.
