Publisher's Description

Jude, The "11:45 Call," is God's last attempt to give mankind His instruction on how to be delivered from destruction and what to expect if they don't listen. The Day of Judgment will come (Acts 2:20). Jesus' disciples asked Him, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age (Matthew 24)?"

Jude amplifies the instructions of Jesus to His disciples and instructs us to beware, be ready, walk in faith and truth, lifting high the cross of Christ, and testify to the work God has done in our lives.

All around us, people struggle in webs of deception and grope in darkness, waiting for the light.

Hope lies but a turn away.

Joel and Brenda Blakely, laymen in the church holding Master's of Education degrees, have taken up the pen after many years of teaching, to call attention to "The 11:45 Call."

"The 11:45 Call" issues an urgent, simple, authentic call to fight continuously for the faith-the truth and hope of our salvation-in light of the last days before judgment and the midnight hour. "The 11:45 Call" will expire at the stroke of midnight; destination is determined by personal choice.

Tell us a little about yourself.  My birth verse is Luke 7:27 so all that I do is measured by the impact it will have in bringing others to Jesus. I am not perfect, I fail, but God is bigger than all my failures and can use what I do to accomplish His purpose. I am wife, mother, grandmother, great grand. I love working in the soil and growing things in God's green earth. am passionate about giving youth the opportunity and equipping them to become the young men and women God created them to be. I understand that they, just like the rest of us, need Jesus and His life changing power. I thank God that He can make something beautiful out of ruins and pain. I thank Him for forgiveness and teaching me about it by forgiving me so that I might forgive others.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Our motivation behind this project was to complete what we believe God called us to do.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  We hope that people will gain a perspective of their "call" in this time and this place.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  Just writing a book together as husband and wife impacted our marriage in a very positive way. I became more dependent on God for direction. I am growing as a servant and walking a deeper walk. Right now we are asking God to allow us to study the book The 11:45 Call, under a good teacher. We researched, wrote, studied but we still believe there is more that we need to gain from this book and the experience.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  The Bible.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Reader, listeners, please pray for wisdom, the strength, understanding and perserverance for the body of Christ. Know that we pray everyday for those who will read The 11:45 Call. Our prayers vary but one thing is consistent; that the reader will find whatever God has planned for them as they read.
